The video begins with two boys at an easel working on a painting. For the purposes of this observation, focus on Andres who is wearing a long sleeved green shirt with a white t-shirt over the top. He needs brown paint, but is struggling to get the paint out of the bottle. He tries many different ways to get the paint out and perseveres until he is successful. Transcript

The teacher initially used this clip to document the student’s understanding and response to English literacy activities,  but a good piece of evidence can address multiple measures.It is important to read the descriptors for each developmental level before determining if evidence is related to the measure.
